Patrick Joseph King (PJK) is a short story writer and novelist. A storyteller with a twist of wit and a splash of the macabre (every now and then). His first published work, Past Midnight, won third place in the Vancouver Courier Fiction Contest, 2000. Since then a number of his stories have won short story competitions and been published. He is also a former recepient of a Canada Council for the Arts grant for writing (2021). He writes stories that warm your heart, tickle your fancy, disturb, inspire, triumph good, champion the human spirit, and entertain. PJK writes and lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.
